Wow! What a day! Surfers In A Dress were interviewed at Bondi Beach this afternoon for SBS World News. Then an interview with 2GB Radio 873AM, which will air tomorrow morning. To keep in line with today being the International Day of the Girl, we discussed why wearing a dress and going surfing to send a girl in Sierra Leone to school, is our part in improving gender equality in the world. It's unfortunate that many girls are deprived the right to an education. But, if WE can provide them with the opportunity then it will have a ripple effect on their life, and their future family. WE have the power to empower - and that's why @onegirlorg and Surfers In A Dress do what we do. Donate: surfersinadress.com/donate Event: Sunday, 12 Oct, Bondi Beach, 10:30am-12:30pm. A massive thanks to all who made it down at a moment's notice: Nic Claase, Mark Greenham, Si Muddell, Tim McLeave, Ed Stephens, Ed Womersley, Philip Conway, Adam Yu, Jayne Rais and Tim Denoodle.

We were fortunate enough to be featured in The Wentworth Courier this week. It was a great little write-up and I'm so stoked to see the surfersinadress.com website being in print! Sweet!
The shoot was taken at Bondi Beach on Friday, 3 October 2014 at 8am - right after the One Wave Is All It Takes weekly event, Fluro Friday. A massive thanks to John Appleyard, Photographer for the Wentworth Courier, and of course the boys who were keen to chuck on a dress for the shoot: Ed Stephens, Adam Yu (from The Why You Collective), and Grant Trebilco (co-founder of OneWave). Getting pumped for the big event now. Sunday, 12 October on Bondi Beach from 10:30am - 12:30pm. For more details, click here.
